Barely a few minutes into the match, in
CFC's first foray into our box, they scored.
We failed to deal with a corner which
resulted in a goal mouth scramble and their
striker was quick to react and scored.

Apart from that, we dominated much of the
first half but did not make any of our
chances count though. CFC started to put us
under much pressure towards the end of the
half and had some swift, quick attacks that
really threatened us.

HT 0-1

2nd half, 10 minutes in and CFC's striker
found himself in a 1-on-1 situation. Our
defender had to make the challenge and we
conceded a penalty. They scored and it was
2-0.

Tried very hard for the remainder of the
match to mount a fightback and had some
chances, but I think many of us lacked
fitness and sharpness. Our touches were not
the best today and we weren't able to play
the flowing passing football that we did in
our pre-season.

Overall, definitely room for improvement,
but also we can take consolation in the fact
that we controlled large periods of the
match. I think we played the better football
but CFC's attackers really made the
difference.
