Look for the 'target' man in the penalty box, if there are no target men around, simply use the opposing goalie as a target man and hit the ball in his general direction with force.
Have eye contact on the ball as you run up to swing your leg, making sure that you hit the ball not the corner flag.
Strike the ball with your instep and low down and across the ball to generate uplift and apply spin to it. Watch the ball sails into the goal or goes out of play for a goal kick.
Skill 2: Taking a proper throw in

Look for the running man or simply aims it at opposing players if you are pissed off with them.
Maintains both feet on the ground as you throw and make sure that you release the ball before the ball goes over your head.
Be confident and fast so that the ref will not notice if there is any foul throw and raise your hands to plead innocence if ref blows for a foul throw.
