Prodigy star winger Jon Ang has told a close source that he will be retiring from competitive field soccer at the end of the season. This will come as a huge blow to Chua's plans for next season as Jon Ang is considered one of the most naturally skillfull players in the side and his penetrating jinking runs from the right wing will be missed indefinately.
Jon Ang has served Prodigy well throughout the years from the day he joined Prodigy 2 as a recreational side and has always been one of the most cheerful guys in the team with his boyish smile and determined displays on the pitch. He cites the reason for retirement from competitive soccer as his old knee injury is getting worse by the day and in order to maintain his knee health, he has to come to this painful decision. Due to his injuries, Jon Ang has only played 4 games for Team Prodigy this season after rejoining the team in early season. It will definately be a challange for Chua to find a capable replacement in the summer.
