Prodigy's very own Steven Gerrard, Yun Weizhong, is likely to make his last appearance in tommorrow's match against our perennial opponents, Commandos. Yun, who has been a major transfer success from Prodigy 2, has cited work commitments and family as the main reason for retirement.
The family man has been a rock in Prodigy's defense and midfield line up. Most notable this season for his awful gash he suffered against one touchables and for his ballistic missile range shots similar to Xabi Alonso's ones, Yun will be sorely missed in our next season.
During a press conference, Yun declares, "I would like to clarify and squash all speculation of me going to Team Beyond imagination. After a lengthy thought thru, i have decided to hang up my boots. I have totally lost my fitness, and its best for me to quit before the manager sacks me for being lazy!"
Teammate, Ching Weng recounted, "Weizhong has been a major influence in me signing up for Prodigy. We were travelling mates for our regular road travels. His tackles were impecabble and extraordinary. He is such a natural defensive midfielder whom i feel assured when he is playing for us. I wish him all the best in his future career and family."
Statistics:
