Team Prodigy extended its unbeaten match record to ten games with an emphatic 3 - 0 win over Royals FC. This eclipses the previous record of three matches set years ago.
Strikers Mick Tan and James are banging in the goals, with their combined tally numbering eight goals in three matches. Tan, with composed humility, has stressed that his goals are testament to the hardwork of the team: "Four goals in three matches is a fantastic achievement for me, but really, my team-mates have been phenomenol. Each and everyone of them deserve to be credited as well."
Many are already gunning for Team Prodigy to finish strongly in the league. Team manager Chua however, has issued a stern warning to players: "I am pleased about getting another three points. But I am not going to take anything for granted and I expect my players to do the same. We are in a tough league, no doubt about that. None of the matches are going to be easy and we need to continue working hard. Its nice to see so much belief in the players, but what I really want to continue seeing is the hunger to win, every damn match of the season."
Team Prodigy will be playing a friendly next weekend, in preparation for the crunch match against KNV6 on 17th Aug.
