Team Prodigy manager Chua has made dramatic double signings during Monday midnight in a final throw of the dice to bolster his misfiring team. It is revealed that former Prodigy 2 star player Jonathan Ang has agreed a lucrative contract in a secret meeting with Chua that will make him one of the top earners of the club and his return will surely excite the fans and players alike.
Another signing is striker Mick Tan formerly from Cairnhill FC who has impressed during the trial in the match against Legends United FC. Mick's lanky physique coupled with his ball holding ability and neat touches made him an ideal target man that will certainly add presence to the attack.
A press conference will be held by the end of this week to reveal the 2 new signings.
With the signing of both Jon Ang and Mick Tan, Chua now has a mouth-watering potent strikeforce consisting of 4 top quality strikers, the other 2 being Yaoyang and Kelvin Kuek. This will come a long way to solve the current goal crisis facing the team. The Board has also reteriated their support by comming out with the money for the manager amid rumours that Chua has only 3 games left to get the team back on track for the promotion chase.
It is believed that the news of Jon Ang's return came out of the blue for some of the old guards in the team, one of them, Ken Goh having played with him before said: " I am speechless! Kudos to Chua for pulling off this transfer miracle. "
"Jon Ang will definately add a different dimension to our team play and I can't wait to play with him again."
Ken stressed: "I am looking forward to the next match and it is a match we must win definately, although morale has been quite low recently, these new signings have certainly lifted most of us."
