The Straits Times has reported that Team Prodigy is on the verge of clinching the signature of a top player. Sources from within the club have revealed that Team Manager Chua has put in a last ditch attempt to bring more quality players to keep the promotion hopes alive for Team Prodigy. It is believed that Chua has all but secured the signing of a quality player to bolster his attacking options in the wake of the recent goal drought.

Chua could not be reached for his comments, and players have stated that they are not aware of any signings the club is involved in. Team Prodigy is currently languishing at the bottom of Division 9 and Chua and the players are currently under fire for failing to convert possession and chances into results. Team Prodigy will have to wait till the 17th Feb to get points into their bag. They face Team One-touchables, who have also not managed to earn any points after a 1-2 loss to Cairnhill FC.
