On the recent edition of Football Focus, the expert panel analysts have focused on the recent flurry of signings. Due to the recent uproar of disapproval from fans, the gaffer Chua has signed a few players and impose stricter disciplinary actions for the players.
Regular pundit, Paul Basefield has praised the move," The signing of quality strikers has shown the resolve to get the goals coming. However, defensively, there is still a big question of closing up the gap. But im confident Chua will get it right as he did in pre-season."
Regular pundit, Shebby Sink commented," Chua has already a big pool of talented players. What he needs now is to get the team playing as a unit. Even if he has Cristiano Ronaldo in the team but with no proper team tactics, they will not get the results. I foresee the sack as inevitable."
As usual, the contrasting views between the 2 has led to a quarrel on air and the ever calm John Bikes has to step in to resolve the childish quarrels. Evidently, the fate of Team Prodigy has gained so much attention that its on the lips of everyone in Asia.
According to a public poll on Roadtalk Asia, 90% of voters are confident Team Prodigy will bounce back and start a run again. This is not surprising given the wide pool of talent the team has.
It remains to be seen how the team response to its critics and Asia awaits with bated breath. Till next episode on Football Focus, cheers!
